1. One weft at a time
Gently squeeze and pull out the clip in wefts one at a time. Make sure to hold the top of your tresses against your scalp to prevent from pulling them out along with the wefts. Separate your locks into sections if you’re using more than one clip in. If the clips have sharp teeth, be careful not to let them snap on your finger.
2. Remove before you go to sleep or shower
Clip ins are made to be used for a short period only and should be taken out at the end of the day. Unlike the other types of hair extensions, they are less durable and gets easily damaged when not properly maintained. You can’t sleep and shower while wearing them. So, right before you jump into bed or into the shower, don’t forget to remove those clips.
